“Dr. Samuel Colbert presented Reducing Stress, Improving Mental Health, (2 sessions) and LGBTQ Cultural Competency Training (Part 1 & Part 2) as professional development workshops for our member base of librarians and education professionals.
Dr. Colbert’s passion for his field was abundantly evident as he shared his vast knowledge and personal experiences within each session. The feedback from these workshops have been overwhelmingly positive.
Working with Dr. Colbert has been an incredibly pleasant experience. He took the time to listen to what my goals and intentions were for these workshops, encouraged feedback to help shape follow-up sessions, and truly listened to our participants. These workshops have provided a great deal of value not just to the services that my organization provides its members, but great value to the lives of the participants.”

Given the abundance of empirical research demonstrating that systemic oppression adversely affects mental health, I am providing a limited number of need-based, pro bono Diversity, Equity & Inclusion trainings at this time.
